Years in the making, the new Architecture Center Houston (ArCH) is complete. The new Architecture Center Houston at 902 Commerce Street was damaged in 2017 during Hurricane Harvey. Though the floor we originally finished for them came through unscathed, so many modifications went into the building’s redesign that the floor had to be created over entirely. This floor recreates the one lost to Hurricane Harvey. An extraordinary inspiration of a project, the floor is white Portland cement with black knippa (obsidian) pebbles.
